InflowControl are excited to begin it's search for a new addition to the team! We are passionate in supporting our clients in 'Making Better Wells', and we are looking for an experienced Completion Engineer to join our team with the same passion and dedication for supporting our clients that we have.
This full-time position will be located in Muscat, Oman yet the role is expected to also support other Gulf Coast Countries and the Completion Engineer (CE) will be utilized as a technical resource within the company as required. The CE will work closely with our regional reservoir engineering teams along with our local partners.
The CE's primary responsibility is to oversee the lower completion technical aspects, client’s operational requirements, protocol, and completion related engineering required for InflowControl to perform successful completion executions within a variety of subsurface wellbore conditions. The CE will be responsible for technical requirements by our clients for the field operations/tool capabilities/procedures for running InflowControl’s AICV® technology (and related accessories required for a complete lower completion) into operator’s wells in conjunction with our local partner(s) and commonly a variety of other vendors within the well completion.
Ideal candidates have related post-secondary education and must have directly relevant work experience with minimum 4-6 years oil & gas completions/subsurface operations experience and operational experience in lower completions/well engineering - eg: running liner hangers mechanical packers or lower completion equipment such as running swell packers with ICD’s are key skill sets required. Torque and drag modelling skills are a significant asset along with knowledge and experience in hydraulic calculations and setting of lower completion tools.
Candidate has been/or is working for an O&G service company and candidates that have Middle East operational experience. Candidates must be able to travel easily within the GCC with ease and without restriction and being a local national and/or GCC national will be well regarded. The candidate must be able to efficiently qualify for local work permit in place of location in order to be employed. Candidates must be fluent in English (spoken and written) along with fluency in Arabic and/or other languages being highly regarded.
Travel and support during non-office (ie: operational hours) will be expected and required for this role.
